SPG, an unlikely candidate for todays' pick. There are only two stocks making our dividend investing list today and one of them had a very ugly looking chart. Simon Property Group has a very good looking chart and their dividend payment history is very favorable. As a rule we usually don't do realestate companies as they a sublect to the valuations of realestate and as you know that can change at any moment.

KR or better known in parts of the country as Kroger in many homes. They are largest supermarket chain by revenue in the country established in 1883 by founder Bernard Kroger. KR is the second largest general retailer and the 23 largest company.

This morning we did hit target price in less than an hour. 
Four trades this morning and tree are out by 10:30. Already surpassing our expectations with our investment goals. This Dividend Investing strategy is hitting all the right marks.

MasterCard, one of todays top credit card companies has us Dividend Investors in a bit of a pickle whether to buy today or not.  We would love to collect the upcoming dividend but there seems to be some interesting statistics.
Here is the dilemma: MasterCard is a household name, well known company, has been around for decades. MasterCard is up for a scheduled dividend payment to shareholders in the next two weeks. Do we buy today, hold until "date of record", collect the dividend check and move on to the next company. Yes that is what we usually do but there is a slight problem. Although MA has hits its target price first day for 10 straight years using our Dividend Investors Software. If the market goes south and we are stuck with the less than desirable yield of .82%. The .82% is not that bad if you consider in the last 10 years MA has gone from $4.49 right up to $91.76 today.
So; collect Dividend and move on, or buy n hold for long term growth like the last 10 years and collect .82% dividends?
As for me, I'm going to pass. Although that 10 year growth looks great, I'm in it for monthly cash flow... I don't like the low yield if I have to hold it.  

BMY, Bristol Myers Squibb dividend stock is one of this weeks top choices for Dividend Investing. We are looking to get a dividend check from BMY or some increased value in our position. We are not looking to hold forever... just a small profit. BMY is up over 100% In the last 10 years, also paying out dividends to investors over that same 10 year period.

As we have stated before, we are not looking to buy n hold, We like the buy n sell only top quality companies. The way I qualify a top company is one that pays out an increasing dividend every year for at least 10 years. In the 10 year period , we also like to see some growth of 10% or more.
