Divedend Stocks For This Week... AAPL, WMT, MET

Dividend stocks to look at this week has a few well known companies to pick from. AAPL comes to mind as well as WMT and MET. Three big house hold names. Here at the 10 minute trader we love the dividend capturing strategy (buy before the EX-date, sell after date of record) because it allows us to capture 10-20 checks per month like clock work. With the invention of the internet and some crafty computer software. We have forged a somewhat unfair advantage over other dividend investors. By looking at historical performances of these three companies as well as many others. We can see how the Ex-date effects the stock price in the days before the actual dividend payout. By knowing this information ahead of time we can have a good idea that the stock may perform in a similar fashion. That puts us in a good position to make some good dividend plays.
With AAPL moving up to the big board of the NYSE, the current stock split and of course the $100 per share mark looming upon us, let's not forget the upcoming dividend payout that's right around the corner. One could consider this trade, this week.... as a no brainer. Let's put it all into place for a bit. The move to the big "NYSE" board... big news. 7-1 stock split... Big news and Apple stock being below $100... big "BUY ME" signal. One last point to make my case. The stock price trend has been steadily on the uprise. The dividend payout from AAPL may not be a huge attraction, but we all know investors love grabbing some dividend checks. If you are looking to increase your cash flow with a safe trading strategy then don't over look the dividend capturing game. This strategy has after all been around for over 400 years and it is still used today. Be careful though when you look at dividend stocks, they are not all going to perform the same way under this dividend play and they are not all created equal.
