APD has a long way to go if they are wanting to be recognized as a household named company. APD is a member of the Dividend Aristocrats, It's not easy to get on this prestigious list. 25 years of consecutively increasing Dividend Payouts is only one requirement to make this list. APD as some nice trading numbers and the stock price has been performing extremely well since the 08 correction.
APD has close to 200 million share afloat and 87% of them are held by institutions, not leaving many for us traders and investors. The dividend yield is only at 2.2% but the Dividend Capturing scoring over the last 10 years is over 90%. That means that 9 times out of 10 you could buy the stock, collect the dividend and resell for small profit.
One question always puzzled me wen it comes to investing... Why settle for 2.2% when double digit returns are so easy to obtain?
Just out of high school I decided to be self employed, after running a successful manufacturing business I had a problem of making more money than I knew what to do with. I started investing, after 23 years of investing I now want to share my strategy with a select few that want an extra edge in their own investing.
